Welcome to Pathway Literacy. By engaging in services provided by Pathway Literacy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • Pathway Literacy provides educational literacy assessment and intervention services for children and young people.

    Services may include:

    • Literacy assessment and profiling

    • Educational reports and recommendations

    • Individual literacy intervention sessions

    • Parent consultations

    • Collaboration with schools and allied professionals where appropriate and with parent consent

    Services are educational in nature and do not constitute medical, psychological or clinical diagnosis.

  • Payment is required prior to assessment sessions and ongoing intervention sessions unless otherwise arranged.

    Invoices will be issued electronically.

    Ongoing session times are reserved specifically for each student.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of sessions.

    Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee.

    Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative session time.

  • Assessment reports are educational reports designed to support understanding of a student’s literacy profile, strengths and areas requiring support.

    Reports are intended for educational purposes only and should not be considered medical or psychological diagnoses.

    Recommendations are based on assessment data available at the time of assessment.

  • With parent or caregiver consent, Pathway Literacy may communicate with schools or allied health professionals to support consistency between intervention and classroom learning.

    Any information shared will remain relevant to the student’s educational support needs.

  • Pathway Literacy respects the privacy of families and handles personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy requirements.

    Information collected through assessment, communication and enrolment processes is stored securely and used only for purposes directly related to service delivery.

  • Regular attendance and home support contribute significantly to student progress.

    Progress may vary between learners depending on individual learning profiles, attendance, practice opportunities and other factors.

    Pathway Literacy does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

  • Where online sessions are offered, families are responsible for ensuring students have access to:

    • A suitable device

    • Stable internet connection

    • A quiet learning environment where possible

  • Pathway Literacy reserves the right to update service offerings, fees or policies where necessary. Families will be provided with reasonable notice of significant changes.
