Meet Emma
I’m Emma Smales, an experienced primary educator, early childhood specialist and literacy specialist with more than 27 years’ experience working with children, families and schools across Australia and the United Kingdom.
My background includes early childhood education, classroom teaching, school leadership, learning support and evidence-based literacy intervention. I have extensive experience in early literacy development and in supporting children to build the foundational skills needed for successful reading, spelling and writing. I established Pathway Literacy to provide children with targeted, individual support based on a clear understanding of their strengths and learning needs.
